Anna Matthews is known for turning houses into homes for her clients. Her designs are bright, fresh, original, and representative of each client and their lifestyle. Working with a mix of Southern traditional, modern, and one of a kind vintage elements, Anna creates environments that are as thoughtful as they are functional. Her balance of color and texture brings life and a bit of fun to each space that crosses her path.
A native North Carolinian, Anna attended UNC-Chapel Hill before moving to New York where she worked for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine and Phillip Gorrivan Design. While in New York, she attended Parsons New School of Design. In 2010 Anna moved to Washington, DC where her experience in interiors continued while working with talented local designers before starting her own firm in 2013. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, Capitol File Magazine, Southern Living Magazine and the DC Scout Guide.
