Styling a space at the end of the project is my favorite move and one that I think is completely necessary. Without styling, a beautifully decorated space can look more like a showroom than a home - and that ain't a good look. I have been styling a lot of bookshelves lately and have noticed that its harder than it used to be to fill the space because everyone is using an e-reader these days - which means a lack of books. So instead of buying 100 books for every client, I've started using the little trick you see above to fill in: wallpaper. It's another layer that tricks the eye into thinking the shelves are full and is always a one of a kind look.
