These cookies are trouble. They popped up on pinterest last week and we already had all the ingredients so I really had no choice. I had to make them. And you should too. Here's what you need...
1 bunch of fresh flowers (you know, for ambiance)
1 cup of creamy peanut butter (don't get all organic - go jiff. trust me.)
1 cup of light brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
5 oz of chocolate chips
What you do...
-Combine everything in an electric mixer EXCEPT for the chips. Use the paddle attachment- not the whisk looking thing.
-Mix on medium speed
-Add the chips until they are incorporated
-Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 2 hours in an airtight container. Mix can hang in the fridge for up to 5 days
-When you are ready to bake place small rounds of dough (basically rolled balls of batter that you pat flat- you got me?) onto parchment paper on a cookie sheet
-Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes
- Let cool and then dig in. These things are seriously rich so it's actually hard to eat too many which is a godsend
Oh and I have kind of lifted my sugar ban.....as you can see....but I am still drinking the green stuff daily!
