Life's a party

This weekend we really took advantage of all DC has to offer. Something we've been talking about doing for way too long. We hiked in Shenandoah Park, tried new restaurants, attempted to club it up (something I have to do every once in a while to remind myself that I'm not old yet and can still hang...and kind of dance), explored Yard Park and went to a concert at Wolftrap. We were the youngest by about 20 years at the concert but that's what you get when you buy Bruce Hornsby tickets. Cue his biggest hit: "That's just the way it is...".

This morning I am taking advantage of yet another opportunity DC gives it's residents every two years: jury duty. And not just jury duty, grand jury duty. Fancy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I am released from this lovely hallway lit by three fluorescent bulbs and can get back to fabrics, clients and the light box dance party that is life (sometimes)!

Hope your Monday is off to a fabulous start!
