I came across Mirth Studio a few weeks ago while enjoying High Point Market from my sofa through instagram. Someone took a picture of their display and next thing I knew I was scrolling through their  their website and dreaming up a future kitchen with their gorgeous product!

What is Mirth Studio you ask? Just a brilliant little company based in Charleston, SC that produces an array of patterned wood tiles that are as durable as they are charming. And I can imagine a place for just about any of them...

I'd put this Peninsula pattern in a foyer with either really light lavender lacquered walls or maybe even this Manuel Canovas wallpaper that I'm currently considering for our foyer...funny how that works. The tile in our foyer is awful anyways. I mean, if you give a mouse a cookie...
From their CocoCozy collection,  Cane. I could see this on the floor of a beach house kitchen.

Macau, I'd put you in a lovely master bath.

Don't be afraid of wood on the floor in a bathroom - it can be all kinds of luxurious.
Just use a good bathmat.

And gingham. I am still having a gingham moment...maybe we should call it a year...and I would love to install this in a farm house mudroom. Such a happy, welcome pattern for a space that is sometimes neglected in a home.

Oh love them. Can't wait to use them. Might have the perfect place in the perfect client's home...
